The story of New Wine Europe started in 2006.

That summer the 'International' Village was made available as a camping site for those who came to the New Wine England Summer Conferences from outside of the UK. Barbara and Francis Noordanus served as Village Hosts to help those who were from different places around the world to connect with others in similar situations. It became apparent as they related with other Church leaders from around Europe that International English speaking churches in Europe, which shared the same New Wine values, were isolated and so the English speaking European New Wine Leaders Network was established and met for the first time in Belgium in 2008 with the support of New Wine International.

This developed into New Wine Europe with Training days and leaders' networking events happening in both Versailles, France and in the Netherlands/Belgium area and people from churches in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland coming to these and meeting in the 'International' village at the English New Wine summer conferences. In the summer of 2009 Barbara received the vision for a New Wine Europe (English speaking) summer conference in 2011 and the current leadership team was established.
